Not really, but I wish! And you will too as of Sunday night because that’s when the stateside MTV phenomenon that is Jersey Shore will finally be hitting UK screens. If you’re cool (read: a loser, like me) you’ve probably watched it online already a few months ago when the Yankee-doodles were going nuts for it. But if you’re really cool (read: an even bigger loser, like me) you’ll probably feel the need to watch it all again because it is so bloody amazing.
If you haven’t heard, it’s basically The Real World with a cast of tri-state area Italian-Americans (or self-confessed “guidos” if you may) who all happen to have a bad case of roid-rage and come in shades of orange only found on woodstain colour charts. There’s lots of hooking up, lots of hair gel, lots of fights, lots of brilliant one-liners and lots and lots of fist-pumps*. It’s so much better than it sounds, honest. Peep the trailer:

Now tell me these kids don’t look like they know how to party!? Homeboy on the top right refers to himself as ”The Situation” yes, “The Situation”! How can a man with so supercilious a moniker not be televisual gold? The oompa loompa next to him is Snooki. Snooki is…well, I’ll let the gif do the talking…
